The TS-100C Pro is a programmable laboratory thermo-shaker that combines precise heating and cooling, intensive mixing and interchangeable thermoblocks in one compact instrument.
Designed for repeatable sample-preparation workflows, it allows users to create and save multi-step programs directly on the touchscreen. This reduces repeated manual parameter changes and the need to transfer samples between separate heating, cooling and mixing instruments.

APPLICATIONS
The TS-100C Pro is suitable for DNA and RNA extraction, NGS library preparation, magnetic-bead cleanup and resuspension, cell lysis, protein extraction, enzymatic reactions, incubation, hybridisation and analytical sample preparation.
A range of interchangeable thermoblocks allows the instrument to be configured for different compatible tubes, strips and plate formats.

Can I use my existing TS-100C blocks with the TS-100C Pro?
Yes - legacy TS-100C blocks are compatible with TS-100C Pro. When installed, the device will recognise the block and the speed limit will be adjusted accordingly (max 1400 rpm).
Can I run longer than 168 h?
Yes. Select Continuous mode for indefinite operation (elapsed time is displayed). For a specific longer duration, a multi-step programme can chain time segments. The 168 h limit applies only to the single-step timed input field.
Do I need the PC software for daily use?
No. All functions - programming, running, logging, user management - are accessible directly from the touchscreen. TS-100C Smart software adds the ability to manage programmes from a PC and export logs, but is not required for basic or advanced on-device use.
Does the heated lid work with all blocks?
Heated lid is compatible with plate-based and tube-format blocks designed for the lid system.

Is the instrument GLP-compliant?
The TS-100C Pro is designed to support GLP-adjacent documentation requirements through automatic timestamped run logging, user identification per run, calibration records, and error logging. Whether a complete process is GLP compliant depends on the lab's SOPs, not the instrument alone. The instrument does not submit data to a LIMS automatically but compatible log file can be exported via USB to PC.
What disinfection/cleaning agents are compatible?
Exterior surfaces: mild soap and water, or 75% ethanol. DNA/RNA decontamination: PDS-250 (Cat. No. BS-040107-DK / BS-040107-FK). Apply cleaning agents to a cloth first - do not spray directly onto the instrumen
Can I use the TS-100C Pro for cryovial thawing or cell recovery?
The instrument has cryotube-specific blocks and can heat to controlled temperatures with mixing. However, controlled experiments confirming specific sample-temperature behaviour and biological suitability for cryovial thawing / cell recovery have not yet been completed.
What happens if the power is interrupted during a run?
The instrument detects unexpected shutdowns during active runs and logs the event with a timestamp. On restart, the user is prompted to resume or cancel the interrupted run. A power interruption event is recorded in the event log.
How are errors communicated?
On-screen error messages, plus an error code (e.g. "E03 – Temperature sensor error"). Each blocking error is accompanied by a user action prompt and a QR code linking to further guidance. The error is also logged in the event log with timestamp, user (if logged in), and current parameters.
