Biosan’s ES 20/* Series Orbital Shaker Incubators have long been the go-to choice for laboratories that demand precise temperature control, uniform shaking, and reliable performance in cell culture, microbiology, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical applications.
We are now introducing a unified upgrade across the ES 20/60, ES 20/80, and ES 20/80C models, designed to deliver increased capacity (handling more with the same equipment), improved ergonomics (a convenient handle – we care about your hands), and enhanced monitoring (LED light – so you can see «how deep is the rabbit hole») for everyday lab work.

All three models now feature a new P-EX Platform Exchange System. Additionally, models ES-20/80 and ES-20/80C now feature integrated chamber LED lighting for enhanced monitoring.

What’s New in the ES 20/* Series?

1. PEX Platform Exchange System – Tool-free and Ergonomic

• Tool-free platform exchange – switch trays in seconds.
• Improved ergonomics: insert or remove samples outside the chamber
• Increased culture volume – supports 4 × 2 L Erlenmeyer flasks, doubling capacity compared to earlier configurations.
• Minimizes chamber contact and reduces contamination risk
• Universal compatibility – retrofits to all three ES-20/* models using the BS-010173-CK upgrade kit

2. Integrated LED Chamber Lighting (ES 20/80 & ES 20/80C only)
Monitoring cultures has never been easier:

• Enables observation of sample clarity, turbidity, color change, or foaming without opening the incubator
• Reduces thermal disturbance by avoiding door openings
• Energy-efficient LED – see your samples like never before (with no measurable impact on chamber temperature stability)
• Improved documentation possibility – allowing you to perform quick photographic or video inspections during runs.

Note: The ES 20/80C model offers the same benefits plus integrated cooling, making it ideal for temperature-sensitive applications.
